You are invited to an interdisciplinary conference and dialogue that will bring together dispute resolution professionals, conflict engagement specialists, health care professionals, patients, consumer advocates, legal professionals, policy makers, and friends to identify the innovative practices that are shifting the culture of health care from one of conflict and disruption to one of “collaborative engagement.”

This conference builds on the successful dialogues among dispute resolution and health care professionals held in Vancouver, BC in 2004. The gathering is a working meeting designed to:
- explore current tensions;
- share insights and success stories;
- develop sound strategies and identify resources for advancing collaborative engagement.
This forum provides an opportunity for us to envision a new way of working together. Building on successful strategies and guiding principles used by conflict engagement specialists, collaborative lawyers, and dispute resolution professionals experienced in working with innovative health care organizations, attendees will learn effective techniques that foster collaboration in health care environments around the world.
