Judicial Clerkships

We're here to create powerful futures.

Challenging. Rewarding. Those two words sum up judicial clerkships. Our students and graduates have clerked at the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Nebraska, the U.S. District Court, for the Western District of Missouri—and beyond. We have graduates at the Nebraska Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Why a clerkship?

Our alumni will tell you—your judicial clerkship may be the best job you’ll ever have. You’ll be involved—daily—in a level of research, writing, and legal practice that’s nearly impossible to find in any other legal environment. You’ll also have a mentor for life in your judge. And your clerkship will likely open doors to tremendous career opportunities.

What’s involved

You assist a federal or state court judge by researching issues before the court and in writing opinions. You may also assist the judge in making legal determinations.
