Adam B. Kuenning, JD, LLM is the Corporate Legal Counsel for Immanuel, a non-profit post-acute health care provider in Nebraska and Iowa. Adam previously served as an attorney for a local law firm. There he functioned as outside counsel to health care providers of all types and sizes on the unique issues and regulations relating to the ever-changing field of health care and medical compliance.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Adam gained invaluable experience while working as an air traffic controller for the Federal Aviation Administration and as a communications supervisor for an industry-leading air medical transport company. Later, Adam functioned as a civil servant for the United States Air Force in the field of Specialized Contracting where he administered contracts with a combined scope in excess of $720 million. During his time with the USAF, Adam was proud to support United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), the Joint Functional Component Command for Space (JFCC Space), and the 55th Air Wing by assisting high-ranking decision makers to acquire goods and services for the warfighter. Adam’s eight-person flight was recognized as the Outstanding Pricing Team of the Year for fiscal year 2012.
Adam provides his students with the unique, practical perspective of a person who has worked with a wide array of rules, regulations and statutes in the fields of health care, business, and transportation for more than fifteen years. Adam is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
