Emily is a graduate of Creighton University with a B.S. in 2002, and Creighton University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2005. She has been working at Creighton University School of Law since 2012. Emily began in the Career Development Office, where she served for 5 years as a Career Counselor and the Interim Assistant Dean for Career Development. Currently, Emily is serving as the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Special Events.
Prior to joining Creighton University School of Law, Emily was a criminal prosecutor with the Douglas County Attorney’s Office in Omaha for over 6 years. During her time at the County Attorney’s Office, Emily prosecuted all felony crimes and child abuse/neglect cases. She also worked closely with non-profit organizations striving to overcome child abuse, mental health, and drug addiction.
