Katie Martens has been in private practice since 2010. She has experience working as an associate in a law firm, as a partner in a two-attorney practice, and now as a solo. Her practice began in criminal defense and has since evolved into business planning, civil litigation, and a smattering of civil rights cases. She has had oral arguments on a case of first impression before the Nebraska Supreme Court, a search and seizure case before a panel of three for the 8th Circuit court of appeals, and participated in a week long administrative hearing before the NLRB.
