Robert E. O’Connor’s primary focus in his firm O’Connor & Associates has been civil trials. He has represented individuals, groups, corporations, trade associations and other business entities of all sizes throughout the Midwest. His trial practice has included issues of every size and type before juries, courts and appellate courts.
In aviation litigation O’Connor has represented professional and recreational pilots, mechanics, fixed base operators, repair stations, fractional owners and sellers before courts and administrative agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
He was admitted to Nebraska, U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska and U.S. Court of Appeals in 1974. O’Connor was admitted to Eighth Circuit Court in Missouri in 2006 and the U.S. District Court, District of Columbia Circuit in 2011. His accolades include former President of both the Omaha and Nebraska Bar Associations and Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and a recipient of Best Lawyers of America 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. O’Connor is an avid golfer and has been a licensed pilot for most of his adult life.
