Randy Wright has more than 30 years of experience in UCC Article 9, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He has tried cases and argued motions in state, federal and bankruptcy courts, including appellate courts, in six Midwestern states.
His experience includes representation of state and federal receivers, bankruptcy trustees, creditor committees, secured creditors, corporate and individual debtors, and the buyers of assets out of bankruptcy. He is the chairman of Baird Holm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Section.
Mr. Wright is the author of “Bankruptcy Issues in Partnership and Limited Liability Company Cases” published in the ALI-ABA Course Materials Journal and a former faculty member of the ALI-ABA course of study on Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies. He co-authored “Bankruptcy Challenges and Opportunities for Technology Vendors and Consultants”, The Nebraska Lawyer (Nebraska State Bar Assoc.), June, 2003.
He serves on the advisory board of the Midwest Bankruptcy Institute. He is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights topics. He has written and presented papers to professional organizations on such topics as the Food Security Act, UCC Article 9 security interests in agricultural collateral, developments in bankruptcy law, landlord rights in commercial bankruptcies, and partnership bankruptcies. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Great Plains Super Lawyers for his work in Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law.
