Following Gregory O’Kief’s graduation from Creighton University School of Law, he served as judicial clerk to the Honorable C. Thomas White at the Nebraska Supreme Court.
Mr. O’Kief is currently Vice President and Senior Counsel at Gavilon, a global commodities company headquartered in Omaha, where he oversees commercial legal matters, including international legal matters and legal aspects of business development projects. He was formerly a partner at McGrath North law firm, where his practice focused on business and corporate law, with an emphasis on international transactions. Mr. O’Kief has represented clients on international mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, has assisted clients with establishing and maintaining international entities, and has drafted and negotiated commercial agreements throughout the world. He also formerly served as General Counsel to a start-up insurance company headquartered in Omaha.
