Professor Knoepfler joined the Creighton University School of Law faculty in August 2008. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Knoepfler was a career law clerk for the Honorable Lindsey Miller-Lerman, Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, and she taught various courses as an adjunct professor at the law school, including Legal Writing and Lawyering Skills I and II; Employment Discrimination; Business Associations; and Legal Interviewing, Negotiations, and Counseling. Previously she also was a partner with the Omaha law firm of Baird Holm, LLP, working in the Labor and Employment Section of the firm. While attending the University of Iowa, Professor Knoepfler was the Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Iowa Law Review. Professor Knoepfler serves as the faculty sponsor for a variety of law school student organizations, including the Moot Court Board, the Animal Law Society and Phi Delta Phi. When she’s not at the law school, you might find Professor Knoepfler volunteering at the Nebraska Humane Society, the fifth oldest and one of the largest animal shelters in the country. Professor Knoepfler volunteers in a number of capacities, including overseeing the shelter’s dog walking program. In addition, she’s helped place a number of shelter animals with law school faculty, staff and students.
