On April 15, Phi Delta Phi held its 102nd initiation ceremony virtually, where eleven new members were inducted into the organization. Phi Delta Phi is a law school service organization, which started at Creighton in 1919. For each of the 102 initiations, the exact same oath has been administered to new members, and this was the first time holding the initiation online.
Additionally, Regina Smith was awarded the Dean Rodney Schkolnick Award, an award that recognized one graduating Phi Delta Phu member for its outstanding service to the organization. Regina coordinated the service organization’s pro bono service to the community.
A formal initiation for the new members will be held in the Fall.
